Saturday bought us six beginners on a one day course, what a joy they all did very well and enjoyed the day. We did rotary cutting and made a cropped heart cushion, everyone completed the patchwork, three of the six completed the cushion in full. Hannah was very please to go come to London with a finished cushion to show off to her friends. We also had six "sit & sewers" who all worked very hard and accomplished a lot of work. Thanks for a very informative morning I am now inspired to design and make a quilt from scratch. Luckily I have a holiday coming up so will arm myself with colour wheel,paper, calculator and have a go!!
